Satellite Images from the Last 24H
The images below are from the Met Office DataPoint service, which is available here. Images are fetched every three hours. The images are provided without an underlying map, I therefore run a small Python program, using Pillow to add a mask with a map outline and a dot to indicate roughly the weather station location. The boundary boxes for these images are 48° to 61° north and 12° west to 5° east, projected using a Mercator projection.
